In Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance main character appears Raiden, protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. As in the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the new game Raiden appears as a cybernetic ninja. Said that the game tells the story of the transformation into a cyborg Raiden.
